ReplyDelete,,,Malay families from Kelantan checked in today and they went fishing with thier friend's boat, dinner was fresh fish just caught from the sea, man it was wonderful!
,,,Repaired the water tank plus installed new water pump today.
,,,Young coconuts available at Capt's Bar from today again, thanks to Asaari climbing skills.
,,,Din came over for a couple of drinks and chit chat.
,,,Visited the camp site, had a good talk with the owner's son. Nice guy but he must learn to manage Maie ala Jone the drug addict from taking over the place. He must put his foot down and deal it directly man to man !. Will help him to manage the situation if needed.
,,,2 extra rooms taken by the Kelantan families tonite.

ReplyDelete,,,7 + 1 Malaysian, 3 French, 1 Scottish, 4 Belgium checked-in today. 1 x Malaysian family had to go back to main land bcas. son was sick with high fever. Total house guests tonite 22 person.
,,,Singh came over with Bar drinks paid rm333 plus rm35/-
,,,Divers went night diving after 2 dives during the day.
,,,swimming lesson to french girl.
,,,Had nasi berani at Azam dive centre.

,,,Longhouse back in shape after last night storm ! Awang booking cancelled last minute !
,,,Right knee still giving some trouble but much better than before, slight pain while bathing, silap angle. Must be extra careful with it. Generally getting in shape after 2 weeks since back on the island.

,,,hitched a boat ride to Marang and met 2 x Swedish girls Elin Sallstrom n Camilla Odling plus managed to get them onboard the longhouse !.
,,,went to Kemaman paid land tax but land name transfer still outstanding, will go for renewal option rather than follow-up on old protocol.
,,,met MHS pilotsat Kerteh Airport, lots of catching up with them too.
,,,purchased vegetables/soft drinks/tepong/kitchen stuffs/bawang merah/puteh by the guni.
,,,thanked Zak/Awang for the 4WD.

,,,Japanese guy Koji Katano checked in 26/04 and leaving tomorrow 29/04. Got to know his better side on 2nd day onwards ! Japanese lady diver also joined us for dinner and she leaving the island tomorrow too for perhentian.

ReplyDeleteHow did'ya kill it? My son trapped a rat one time then just left it out in the sun to dry out. Cruel kan but then bloodless lah. After that he threw it into the big longkang.

ReplyDelete,,,Killing Mike the Rat was not my idea but apparently he got too tame after my nitely feeding session !. Houseguests complained about him and Chef had to do something about it ! Poor Mike hope he has some babies around ?. A metal sping trap was utilised but he had a hard time dying, so had to help kill it by breaking his neck !,,,after which i could not sleep the whole nite.
,,,WEnt back to main land with ASaari and the french lady with her daughter on our little transfer boat.
,,,Got my Income Tax papers from the out-law, she is o.k. from the look of it, her home grown mangos are really huge and will make use of it tonite, thai style cooking-belacan/cilli/bawang/lemon/suger/ginger/lemon grass/kacang etc ?.
,,,Sorted out e-tax and paid my dues/balance for 2007 etc, very friendly K.T tax ladies compared to the fatty girl at Kemaman yesterday, she really pissed me off with her attitude !
,,,purchased rm350 worth of kitchen stuffs/beer/chicken/milk/jams etc
,,,paid rm50 to Awang for his 4WD and its worth it and most important he is happy about it. Thanked Zak too !
,,,bought 3 x gas tanks and left 2 empty tanks at the shop, they ran out of gas !. Also got minyak tanah for emergency lightings with unrealiable Sola pwr at the island.
,,,Timber man agreed to rm3500/- for 1 1/2 tons of hard wood, Awang to sort out transportation issue, may have to do 2 trips at night.
,,,calm sea on way back with French family, yoo ho hoo around with the 8 years old girl, she had a great time too. Play acting as a pirate on our small boat.
,,,1 x malay couple checked in but locked themselves in the room for some unfinished business, I can imagine !. Wonder why the Longhouse is shaking, no wind or rain pon ?. hahaha
Another fruitful day for me n Asaari but wonder what Chef Kolid/Sara did ?. House not swept clean after the stormy windy evening while am away, had to clean it up myself bcas i just stand poor housekeeping !. Both were late and Asaari had to handle b'fast all by himself this morning b4 piloting the boat to Marang. Another ping slip and wake up talk later tonite i guess Geeee,,,why guys ?.
,,,checked up with workshop on progress to engine overhaul, slight delay to spare parts arriving a bit late but should be ready in 3 days time, just can't wait for the boat launching event.
Summary ; A darn good day !. House guest are happy and thats what counts in this business!

ReplyDelete,,,Told off the Chef to get his act together ! am pretty pissed off with his attitude and laziness, waking up late and tidak apa attitide. Last warning and if he does not change, he will be fired.
,,,Carried out major housekeeping and clean up for tomorrow's group of 65.
,,,the dorm is now sarawk style, all bedding on the floor, extra bed in every room, lounge rearranged and can also cater for sleeping.
,,,Cleared staff extra room to cater for the 2 Swedish girls since they don't want to leave as yet until next week.
,,,Chef's friend and strange guy that started to creat trouble with Sara and Elin/Camella got some solid side kicks from your's truly !. Geeee I kind of lost it after this morning issue with the Chef.
,,,Great day with some solid actions !!!
,,,ooo yaaaa also reminded the 2 guys on the beach not to kill the poor crab just for the fun of it. Help wash the blood from the injured girl's bitten finger by the crab hahaha.

ReplyDelete,,,Its labor day indeed for me and the crew !! Hard labor to manage the full house tonite and tomorrow again, lucky we were able to fill uP ALL THE ROOMS and 3 in the dorm after the unarrival of the 65 booked customers Geeeee almost went to the drain by another ruscal !!!.
,,,22 campers for 2 nites, given lights etc to them.
,,,Asaari went fishing and not managing his timings properly or just plain stupid ?. Had to call him back for dinner preparations for 30 people eating in Longhouse.
,,,Chef is pretty sober today, good.
,,,Have to be consistent with my promotion and stick to standard pricing, no need to be greedy.
,,,i need some rest now hahaha. Things are moving in the right direction.
