Species type ; "Kurin ",,,,,,Tropical local hard wood that sinks and bloody heavy almost like rock. Natural anti-termite timber type,,,,,sakit gigi nanti termite Ooooi,,,,,,hahaha .
Quantity & Size : 4"x 4" x 12 ft long ; 58 in numbers, 4" x 4" x 10 ft long ; 9 in numbers, 4"x 4" x 8 ft long ; 6 in numbers. Total volume ; 1 & 1/2 tons.
Costs ; To-date, just rm 3500 in total for timber plus rm700 for lorry/boat transfer/transportation and manpower cost,,,,,,,, delivered across to Kapas Island from Marang using local fishing boat and local boys for manpower and labour.
What next ?,,,,,,,,Now to look for local carpenters, friends from Pulau Duyong to help us together build up the houses. But there still lots of timbers of different sizes i.e. 2x3, 2x4, 2x5, flooring and wall planks plus other building materials to be purchased.
Must now, only look for "Chengal" timber for the rest and nothing else !.
Footings or foundations to be constructed or pre-cast from the main land too,,,,,size and height to be finalised before commiting-lah.
wowwwwww yaaaaaaa !!!!!!,,,,,,,,interesting and challenging time ahead to keep me and my pirate crew bloody busy all year round !.

ReplyDeleteOnly if you are dead serious ! There are plenty of land facing he beach front all along the East coast for sale ! But life is dead slow here, city girls might find it hard to adjust to the lifestyle, your daughters might not be able to handle it-lah.
For retirees/crazies like me, its paradise but you, am not too sure if you can last a week of it hahaha.
Better if you drop in to the island for a break from your Banggali neighbour for time off hehehe,,,,takut kena heart attack from the sound of it yaaaa. Geeeee washing on the 2nd floor, Ooooo my god. You been tested for patience n tolerence kot ?.

A boathouse in Kenyir dam would be a good idea too tau.
A sailing boat might be fine for me eventually, perhaps sooner than later once my Capt's Longhouse is converted into Capt's Malaysian Island Village and be sold off for a couple of or tens of millions later ?. Yooooooo.
Just remember am a piraty (rat)businessman too-lah yoohohoo. Presently its just a hobby and 2nd childhood for me to laugh it out hohoho. In fact, I don't need the money at all,,,its just a game, i.e. play play only. Never was and never will. In for the FUN and game only and to burn some cash in the process, just don't want too much of sitting pretty in the bank, after the recent market crash !. Lost aplenty yoooo, almost rm1m mind you hahaha. No kidding but am still smiling n jolly,,,life is a gamble, you win some n you lose some, every dog has its day kan ?

Mior Zubir's resort at cherating, nama resort i can't remember but its after the kubor !. isteri dia pandai masak and interesting lady to sembang sembang plus borak, you will enjoy your stay there. They know me very well, so don't ask about my secrets etc-lah please,,,habis cerita airforce kita terbongkar nanti. Capt Mior is also another character you don't want to know hahaha,,,sekarang dia dah bertobat dah,,,takut bini hehehe.
